Climb Toowoomba – Kids Classes
Learn to climb with our amazing kids classes!
Climb Toowoomba offers exciting and engaging climbing classes for kids aged 6-17+, Kids can discover the thrill of climbing and develop their skills in a safe and supportive environment, guided by our experienced coaching team.
Our varied classes and flexible timetable can be found below.
To enrol in a class, simply visit our climber portal. Please note that if classes are full, priority will be given to current members.
Gecko’s Class – 6-9 Years Old.
This class welcomes all little climbers and focuses on building a love and passion for climbing. We teach the basic climbing techniques, building confidence, strength and
endurance on the walls. They are encouraged to stick to the easy and beginner routes. We also do lots of kid friendly climbs and inspired games to encourage participation and mingling with each other.
Monkey’s Class – 10-13 Years Old
This class is more technically focused and involves more drills and core activities. Students in this class will be put into pairs during climbing periods to assist, encourage and work on different techniques. Students in this class will be encouraged to project to harder climbs and to use more advanced problem-solving skills to navigate the walls.
Spider’s Class – 14-17+ Years Old.
This is our oldest class, with harder techniques and challenges, as well as climbing conditioning. At this level students will be expected to complete much harder climbs and will work predominantly on perfecting techniques. Students who reach 18 can move up to the adult classes, they may also choose to continue with their friends at this level slightly longer.
